Red Wedding Flowers Biography
The oldest two flower girls will be carrying pomanders that are the same colour as the Bridesmaids bouquets. I saw a picture where this was done and loved how it turned out. I bought the styrofoam balls, ribbon and flowers at the local dollar store. I removed the plastic fake looking parts of the flowers (the centres and stems) with the exception of a bit of stem underneath the flower to push into the styrofoam, and then used a glue gun to keep it all together.
.The single red boutonniere is for the groom, to match the fact I will be carrying a red rose bouquet, and also to make him stand up a bit. The white boutonnieres are for the groomsmen, my man of honour, the ushers, my mother's boyfriend, and the male reader. These were ordered premade from AFloral, and then ribbon was added to them, and the bow was added to the red rose bout.
Update: I have created a special bout for the Man of Honour that looks more like the Bridesmaid's bouquets. It is the one pictured below.
